For most, we tend to believe we already should have all the answers—for our own lives  and for the lives of others. After all, our experience tells us that certain things are true.

It is not always obvious and it even feels counter-intuitive to admit we need some help to find a  solution or strategy to overcome our problems, face our fears, shift perspectives, create accountability or develop a positive action plan.

We think we know all the answers because we are so immersed in our own world, in our own way of thinking, that we’ll do or say anything that validates our own point of view.

When you look at your life - from the inside out - as something you are creating, rather than having external circumstances or others create it for you, you can take full responsibility for your own life's experiences.

But if you don’t get clear and take control of all the stuff inside of you that’s running your life, nothing you do or say will help get what you really want.

Living a life you choose and creating the results you want comes down to asking yourself a few fundamental and powerful questions.

  1. What do I want?
  2. How will I know when I get it?
  3. What is preventing me from having it now?
  4. What will happen when I get it?
  5. What will I have or become through getting it?

Perhaps you've never really taken the time or created the space to ask yourself these basic questions.

I'm convinced that you already have the answers to your own solution.
The problem is, either you don't know (yet) how to discover it, or you avoid discovering it.

Personal Coaching Philosophy

My philosophy on personal life coaching and transformational change is based on the belief that people have a positive core or essence, a unique and positive way of being in the world, based upon individual talents, capabilities and resources.

Just as an acorn contains within it all the potential to be a magnificent oak tree, each individual has the talents and resources within themselves to develop and maximize their true and positive potential.

At the heart of coaching lies a process of positive inquiry created through communication. It is only through conversations and the words we use that we create our own perspective of the world, which greatly influences our intentions and subsequent actions.

This process implies an openness to discover, and a willingness to learn through appreciative and honest feedback. Positive questions will direct the focus of our conversations and elicit positive change.

People grow and change in the direction of what they consciously focus on. Positive inquiry focuses on possibilities rather than problems; it illuminates the positive core in people.

Personal coaching allows people to move toward an inspired vision of a desirable future instead of focusing on the restraints of their present situation.

Positive inquiry is about honoring the past, celebrating the present, and realizing the future, today!

At the end, coaching is about personal power. It brings out the best in people, and inspires them to appreciate and support the best in others!
